True Story.

When I started my business my goal was to create a job that I loved. I didn’t think it would be that hard (insert hearty belly laugh here). I put up a website, charged $90 for a one hour, in-home visit with me and BOOM, my first client booked.

As I parked in front of her house, I thought it was interesting the neighbourhood she lived in. I thought I was charging a high price that would attract a certain clientele, those who would invest in many appointments with me for ongoing support. I wasn’t sure this was her – but I was excited to have my first appointment and see how I could help.

As I entered into her home, I noticed a large table in her front living room, covered with a plastic table cloth and three plastic supplement jars. HUH… I thought. That’s weird. But I continued to sit down on her couch and start my assessment.

What happened in this visit with my first client? How did she try to sell me? And what did I learn about this experience about being an entrepreneur and finding the right audience for my practice? Listen to this episode to find out! It’s an interesting story, that helps you walk away with REAL action steps as you build your practice and grow to reach more of the ideal audience that wants the work you do.
