Are you a health professional or private practice owner looking to take your services online? If so, you’ve come to the right place. Welcome.

Are you ready to leverage your health expertise and create a digital program that can reach and impact more people? Today, we’ll be addressing a topic that often holds health professionals and private practice owners back from taking the leap into the online world: technology.

Join me, as I answer your burning questions about the best tools and resources to use when building and implementing your digital program. So, whether you’re just starting out or already have a program in place but want to optimize your use of technology, you are in good hands. I am an expert in e-learning in online education.

When I started my practice in 2011, I want to say there was no technology. Like, there was such little opportunity for me to teach online because no one was teaching online except for universities and colleges. I’m so excited to say that for you, that is not the case, there is so much technology available, making it so much easier to run online health programs.

With the right tools at your disposal, you can create, market, and deliver your program seamlessly, ensuring both your success and the transformation of your participants.. But, that’s not all. We’ll also discuss simplifying technology and avoiding costly mistakes, ensuring a smooth and successful transition into the digital realm.

Before we jump into the details, I want to remind you to ‘Just. Don’t. Quit! Just. Don’t. Stop’! The road to a thriving online program may have its challenges, but with perseverance and a little help with technology, you can overcome any obstacles.

Remember to take care of yourself along the way. Practicing self-care and finding joy in your journey. So, let’s harness the power of technology to save time, and make a significant impact in the lives of your clients. Let’s get started.

Can you create a digital program as a Health Professional…YES. Yes. You. Can.

Planning your Online Health Curriculum

The first topic we’re going to move into  is planning your digital curriculum. A critical step in the program development process. What do I recommend as an ideal tool when it comes to organizing your curriculum? I personally feel one of the best tools you can use  is Google Drive.

This cloud-based platform offers an environment for organizing, sharing, and editing your program materials. By using Google Drive, you can easily collaborate with a coach or mentor to receive feedback. Not only that, but you can also save it on the cloud, so you never have to worry about losing it on your computer.

While I know many of you, health professionals, practitioners and clinicians, love using notebooks, so do I. But, it is important to transfer your curriculum onto Google Drive to ensure easy accessibility and collaboration. So go ahead and brainstorm in your notebooks, but make sure to transfer your ideas onto Google Drive for efficient planning.

Designing Engaging Health Digital Programs

So, creating visually appealing and online program material is essential for audience engagement.  I am here to introduce you to the wonderful world of
Canva, if you have yet to explore it. Canva is a versatile design tool that helps bring ease to design to building out your digital program and a strong brand for all healthcare  practitioners.

Canva allows you to create beautiful graphics and designs without needing graphic design skills or hiring a professional. In the past, creating graphics and designing websites required technical knowledge and often hiring expensive contractors. But now, with Canva, you have the power to design and customize your digital health program materials. Talk about cost savings.

Create eye-catching: social media posts, graphics, banners, workbooks, and even freebies to engage your audience and enhance your program materials. With Canva, the possibilities are endless.

Email Marketing for Helping Practitioners

Next up, we discuss how to
streamline your communication with email automation. You can use email marketing softwares: such as Mailchimp or ConvertKit or our very own TLP Tech, which is an all-in-one tech software! The above options allow you to automate your communication with program participants and build a deeper connection with them.

With email marketing software, you can effortlessly send out announcements, updates, online course material, create personalized email sequences, schedule automated reminders, and track open rates and click-through rates to gain valuable insights.

This tool not only saves you time but also helps you provide a more personalized experience for your program participants. So consider implementing email marketing software into your program to enhance communication and engagement.

Digital Tools for Getting Your Online Health Program Started

To deliver your program effectively, you’ll need to record videos. Get your face in front of a camera and have your voice and health expertise heard. Whether you’re on a tight budget or ready to splurge, I am here to offer options to suit your needs and help you produce high-quality video content that captivates your audience.

To start off you can use your computer mic and camera to do the job. If you would like higher quality devices, I recommend:

  1. Audio-Technica Mic : preferred for lower cost mic
  2. Blue Mic :  personally did not like mine
  3. Shure Mic : when advanced, have a podcast, or running your program for over 2 years and want to level up your sound
  4. Logitech camera :  you can buy a simple Logitech camera.  If you want a great one, then buy my camera, it’s the Logitech Brio. It’s amazing.

If you’re gonna go live – you’re gonna need Zoom, and you’re just gonna go live on Zoom. Okay? You can actually record right on Zoom. You can also use Loom, but I am not familiar with it. If you’re gonna record some videos ahead of time, which many of you will, then I like to recommend software that you can record and edit on. Alright? So, I recommend ScreenFlow for Mac or Camtasia for PC.

Now for many of our clients here at The Leveraged Practice, I  encourage them to do their first one live. Why? Well, I can get into that another day with you. But, what I noticed from working with 100’s and 100’s of people, is that it can be kinda tricky, shifting from in-person from one-to-ones or a group to filming to a camera.

All-in-One Tech Platform for Health Practitioners

Once your program materials are ready, you need a platform to host them efficiently. And, so this is where you’re going to need a course platform.
You can use ClickFunnels, Active Campaign, and Thinkific, which provide email marketing, landing pages, and course tools.

Some of you are possibly using Practice Better and Healthie as your management platforms. We, in the last, 6, 7, 8 months have built out our own all-in-one software that we love and our clients love! Why? Because it’s an all-in-one platform.

TLP Tech simplifies your course hosting, email marketing, and sales funnel needs. We can do coupon codes, sales pages, checkout pages, flash sales, lead magnets, all your automations and host your courses of course. We can even do all your freebies. Everything integrated into a single platform, saving you time and money.

And that’s why we did it. It’s not easy to build this out. It’s not it’s not even the most profitable thing that we sell. But, we really wanted to help out health professionals, practitioners and clinicians, people running private practices. And if you need help, we’re right here. Our tech team even does ‘done for you services’.

It’s incredible. And right now, the TLP Tech Starter Plan starts at $99 a month. Over time, you will see an incredible savings from all the platforms that you would have to purchase otherwise. Our second tier, at $299 a month, offers more tools, like a social planner, calendar, some sales pipelines and Q’s and A’s every month with myself, our copywriting and social media experts.

But otherwise, that’s the last thing you’re gonna need. You’re gonna need some kind of software, some kind of hosting platform, where you can host your videos and your courses.

In conclusion, when it comes to building and launching your online program, utilizing the right  technology and tools can help get your time back, making all the difference. Google Drive can help you plan and organize your curriculum, Canva allows for easy design customization, email marketing software enhances communication and engagement, video recording and hosting platforms help execute launching your health program.

These tools simplify the process and allow you to focus on what truly matters – delivering a valuable, impactful health program while reaching a wider audience, saving you time and building you freedom.

Don’t let technology intimidate you. Let’s leverage your practice together. Let’s leverage technology to empower your practice and help you make a lasting impact on the health and well-being of others.

Sending you much love, joy and happiness,
