“One of the early models that we played with was what I call a High Touch Hybrid. This is a hybrid model where we blend one-to-one individual appointments and they can be in-person or virtual along with online education. Leveraging One-to-Ones With an Online Health Program

Product Development Phase – Part #2

Hello, and welcome back.

I am so thankful to have you joining me.

Last week we discussed flipped learning and blended learning, which are research-based models that can help you create effective digital online programs.

If you missed that podcast, I suggest listening to it as it lays the foundation for today’s topic.

This week we continue to explore how you can conserve your time and energy, leverage your expertise within the health field, while still impacting the lives of the beautiful humans that enter your world.

How?

By focusing on product development, whether you are  creating new digital assets for your private practice or refining your existing online health programs.

Many common questions that I hear from health providers thinking about building out online health programs for their practice:

  1. How can I customize an online health program to get great outcomes?
  2. What does online learning look like for my health practice?
  3. How does the technology work on the backend?

Question no more. I am here to provide guidance on how to navigate this process.

With over 10 years of experience in the health industry, from a retired dietician, running a brick and mortar in-person practice to transporting my business online, I bring a wealth of valuable knowledge, clarity, insights, strategies and expertise to the table. 🎯

As the CEO of The Leveraged Practice, I’ve been running online programs since 2013. I’ve developed and run over 50 online programs and courses, different versions, live, recorded, self study, all kinds of programs.

And have helped 100s and 100s of health professionals build out their online health programs, track progress, refine their programs and achieve exceptional outcomes.

My shift in my health practice happened when I had my 1st baby and I didn’t wanna do one-to-one’s anymore. So I hired someone else to do the one-to-one services. And one of the early models that we played with was what I call a High Touch Hybrid.

Have I got your wheels spinning?

👉 What is a High Touch Hybrid?

👉 What are the benefits it will have on my private practice?

👉 How can it be done while I still have my one-to-one visits with clients?

Well, let’s explore and find out.

High Touch Hybrid Model for Online Programs:

Running High Touch Hybrid programs have been particularly successful for both myself and my clients.

It is one of the first models my clients like to adopt because it is very hands-on and through the process you can really fine tune your framework for your online health program.

What is a High Touch Hybrid Model?

This model combines one-to-one appointments, whether in-person or virtual, with online education components such as videos, handouts, workbooks and audio training.

It offers a hands-on approach and allows for customization and personalized support while leveraging the scalability of online programs.

Typically, High Touch Hybrid programs are priced higher, ranging from $1,500 to $2,000 or more because they get a lot of hand holding with you. You can charge between $2,000-$4,000 based on current practice, marketing, brand reputation and your comfort with charging more.

The frequency of one-to-one sessions varies depending on how you structure your program.

For example, some clients may only need an appointment once a month or some clients require 3 appointments over a 6-month program while others may benefit from more frequent sessions.

By incorporating online education into your one-to-one program, you can maximize your impact and optimize your time since your one-to-one appointments become shorter thanks to the online education. So instead of 45 minutes or an hour, appointments are now 20-30 minutes.

Clients have the convenience of accessing educational materials, all the repeatables, at their own pace and can review the content as needed. This approach enables them to fully grasp the concepts and make meaningful progress.

How to Build a High Touch Hybrid Online Health Program

To deliver the best outcomes for your clients, it is important to build a comprehensive and cohesive program that guides them through a system or framework.

I recommend customizing the program where necessary and ensure that each session builds upon the previous one. This will provide clients a structured learning experience that meets their pain points and needs while they achieve their desired goals.

So how do you structure a High Touch Hybrid program?

1. Determine duration of your program

  • Based on how long it typically takes for clients to see results (3 months, 4 months, 6  months…)

2. Then map out the repeatable educational content you deliver in each session

  • Deliver your toolbox of techniques, strategies, tips, things you lead them through
  • What do they need to unlearn?
  • Break it down into manageable chunks to avoid overwhelming your clients

3. Once you have a clear framework, start recording the on-demand videos or other educational materials for your program

  • Can sprinkle in one-to-one appointments with the online
  • Some clients won’t even need one-to-ones with you

And there you have it, the framework for how you build out your online education component.

Benefits of Group Calls for Online Health Programs

To strike a balance between one-to-one sessions and online education, you may consider incorporating group calls. This can reduce the number of individual sessions required.

By hosting weekly or bi-weekly live Zoom group calls, you can address common questions and provide additional support to your clients.

Group calls also help create a sense of community among participants, which enhances the overall program experience.

To sum things up, we discussed the High Touch Hybrid model and what it is. How to map out your online health program content. The value behind integrating group calls, ultimately moving towards reducing one-to-one sessions to free you up to live out other life passions.
