“Nothing should stop you from putting your energy and effort now and into next year, into building out this program for your practice, taking out all those repeatable parts that you say over and over again. Unlock the Potential of Your Online Programs with Seamless Client Support
Product Development Phase – Part #4
Hello. Hello.
I am grateful to have you back for this series on how to develop your online health program.
Last week we discussed if you should start with a smaller or larger online program.
If you missed the podcast, I would suggest listening to it as it provides key tips and factors in deciding the duration of your digital program.
Today we are going to jump into how you can seamlessly support your clients in your online programs.
As the CEO and Founder of The Leveraged Practice, I’ve been through the repeated process of creating, launching and scaling online health programs.
It’s been a fun journey of growth, learning and continuous improvement.
When I started The Leveraged Practice in 2019, I had a 6 month old and a 3 and a half year old. I wanted to create a business that allowed me the flexibility to balance my personal and professional life.
I started off with podcasting. I could create content easily without the need for constant video creation or written blogs.
And, as my business has grown, so have the platforms I use to communicate with all the lovely humans in my world.
Here’s the beautiful thing about running a health business…
You are always adding layers. Layers, upon layers. You can start with one thing and continue to add more layers as you go.
Here at The Leveraged Practice we are no different. I too have a list of things I want to do, try and focus on.
And with the end of the year approaching, it’s essential to reflect on how we can all add new layers to our health businesses to enhance our reach, impact, income and personal freedom.
It’s important to reflect on how we can manage our client inquiries, create efficient automated systems and leverage our time to truly change lives without trading minutes for dollars.
I want you to walk away from this today understanding and knowing that you can absolutely support and serve 100s, even 1,000s of lovely people without feeling overwhelmed.
Ready to delve into strategies and techniques for providing an effective support structure that empowers your clients in your online program(s)?
Preventing Burnout in the Health Field for 2024
When I often talk to health professionals who are doing one-to-one services with clients or patients, they realize that there is this capacity issue.
As healthcare professionals, we only have so many hours in a day to help support and serve our clients.
Burnout in the health industry is always a looming concern.
You’ve either gone through burnout. Or you can see it coming. Or you don’t want to get there.
- You know that you are impacting lives.
- Transforming lives.
- And you love the work that you do.
- But you do not want to burn out.
- You’re ready to take care of yourself.
- You’re ready to work less and find more efficiencies.
- And that’s where using the Internet and digital programming comes in.
- That’s where different techniques, systems and processes can be beneficial.
- You can keep helping people.
- But in a more leveraged way.
Here at The Leveraged Practice we help you learn more efficient ways to run your private practice without exhausting yourself.

Online Health Program Models
Whether you’re running a self-study, hybrid, group or membership, providing the right client support can make all the difference in client success and the scalability of your business.
Traditionally, many individuals believe that a self-study course, like a book on the internet, is the only way to reduce the demand for personal time while still making an impact.
Self-studies are a great option for a variety of reasons, but they do not provide any support for your users.
There are many diverse online support models available that do provide client support along with the educational components.
It’s about finding the right approach that aligns with your business strategies and client needs.
It’s about finding the right approach that allows you to have more impact, more money and the ability to use your skills to change lives around the world.
3 Client Support Techniques for Online Health Programs
1. Hiring Support Personnel
When it comes to your online health program, I would go as far as saying that more than 50% of the customer service questions you will get are not about curriculum.
It’s not about the actual program. It’s about logging in or password resets or they’re sick, they want to pause their membership or they want a refund. The list goes on.
You don’t need to be spending your valuable time answering all the customer service questions.
You can hire support to take on the responsibilities of efficiently handling all those administrative inquiries and technical issues so you can focus on your area of expertise.
2. Streamlining Client Communication with Automation & Systemization
As mentioned above, we often find ourselves inundated with administrative and technical inquiries from clients.
You can create and automate email templates.
Like weekly emails that go out to people that proactively tell them what they should be working on.
Or, when someone sends in an inquiry, your team can just go into the automated database of email replies, click on the email, click yes, populate the reply into the email, customize and send.
You can also implement a library, which I’ve done in many of my programs.
So when your clients are working through the modules and lessons they can easily access the resources in the library.
Streamlining your client communication with automations and systems will reduce the need for constant back-and-forth communication.
In return you buy back time and money. You can use the extra time for self-care.
3. Hosting Open Q&A Sessions
Having Q&A sessions allows for efficiency in addressing common questions and concerns. It makes support more scalable and manageable.
You could have 100 people in your online health program, but only 10 people come to the Q&A for an hour once a week.
You’ll find people asking the same questions. Some won’t have questions today, but they have them next week. Some didn’t even know it was a question they also wanted answered until it was asked by another.
Conducting regular Q&A sessions for all clients also fosters a sense of community.
Even though you may have 100 beautiful humans in your online health program, you are not working harder but rather smarter with your weekly Q&A’s. You are helping, impacting and building a community. Win-win.
In summary, supporting clients in your online programs seamlessly involves leveraging a combination of hiring support personnel, using automations, systems and hosting Q&A’s.
